Basic policy

Based on its Company philosophy of "contributing to and being loved by citizens," the Citizen Group will contribute to a sustainable civil society where people can live rich in spirit and with peace of mind through our business activities taking account of people of the world and local community environment.

Environment action plan

As a global company, Citizen Micro Co., Ltd. promotes environmental conservation activities in a company-wide effort to realize a sustainable civil society.

1. We will strive to protect the global environment by promoting environmentally friendly manufacturing and providing environmentally friendly products and services to society.
2. We will comply with all laws, regulations, rules, agreements and other requirements relating to the environment, and strive to reduce environmental impact and prevent pollution.
3. We will contribute to the prevention of global warming and the realization of a recycling-oriented society by promoting energy conservation, resource conservation, resource recycling and proper management of chemical substances in our factories and offices.
4. We will promote greenhouse gas reduction, use resources sustainably, and strengthen the management of chemical substances contained in our products, in cooperation with our suppliers, buyers, and other business partners.
5. We will strengthen harmony with local communities while deepening communication with them by actively disclosing information on such initiatives as participations in the environmental conservation activities or the biodiversity and ecosystem protection activities for local communities.
6. This Environmental Policy will be made publicly available and communicated to all employees and people working together.
   
   We will establish environmental objectives and targets in accordance with this Environmental Policy to implement, evaluate, and continuously improve those targets.
